NHL Scores (10-14)

Chicago Blackhawks (2) @ Nashville Predators (3)

Edmonton Oilers (5) @ Calgary Flames (3)

Philadelphia Flyers (4) @ Los Angeles Kings (2)

Game of the Night

Last night’s central division matchup between the Blackhawks and Predators was both Nashville’s home opener and PK Subban’s first goal as a member of his new team. Nashville scored 3 power play goals to defeat Chicago at Bridgestone Arena.
Down 1-0, Subban’s blast from the point went in behind Corey Crawford to tie the game at 7:46 of the 1st. It was Subban’s very first shot of the season and as a Nashville Predator. After tying the game, Nashville never looked back, as they would go on to score 2 more goals on the power play to nab a home-opening win.
Ryan Johansen picked up 3 assists in last night’s game. Mike Fisher and Roman Josi also scored, while Pekka Rinne stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced. Amazingly, the tight defense of the Predators was able to keep Patrick Kane and Johnathan Toews off  the scoresheet. With their exciting and effective style of play exhibited in this game, the Predators hope to bring success throughout the season to Music City.

P.S. I'm sorry I couldn't put the video file in here. I'm not sure how to upload videos from NHL.com. I'll just have to make do with the URL.
